Anna’s Ciambellone

We had the pleasure of filming Anna at her home in Umbria. Of course, pasta is always on the menu, but isn’t the only thing le nonne serve us. Dolce (dessert) is often dished out after filming; and it’s the only thing that gets as close to being as sweet as our wonderful grandmothers. Anna's ciambellone (a ring-shaped cake) one is a real crowdpleaser. Using coconut flour, with hints of lemon, it's light, fresh, and fluffy. We couldn't stop going back for more on this one.

Preheat oven: Set to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a 24–26 cm ciambella (ring) pan.
