Pina’s Gnocchi with Chicken Tomato Sauce

When asked which dish her family requests most often, Pina said gnocchi. We tasted it, and we know exactly why! As for the sauce, it’s not just a simple tomato sauce! She includes the flavour of chicken for added depth of flavour. Often Italians don’t pair chicken with pasta but here it really works well. And of course, like most of our nonnas, nothing is wasted; instead she serves the chicken separately as a second course – genius!
